My Quotes

“Small differences are visible from smaller altitude”

I have often come across many people giving many good reasons for their failure, why they were not able to achieve something in their life. You will also listen several time people saying that someone XYZ has achieve something because of XYZ reasons & I am not able to achieve because I had not those helping hands which other fellow was blessed with. People often forget to believe that these small differences should not bother you if you really want to achieve something big. For example suppose you are on the ground floor of a building which is touching the sky. Your next friend is on 5th floor & you & your friend both wants to go to the 10th floor, here your friend has clearly advantage over you. Now suppose you want to go to 20th floor ,still your friend had some edge over you ,but what about if you want to go to 100th floor ,then your friend have relatively small advantage over you ,what about if you want to go 1000th floor ,& finally what about if you want to touch sky ,hardly any difference is there between you & your friend. Hence if you aim is high, doesn’t matter where are you, your relative position in family, society, country & world doesn’t matter. That’s why I say “Small differences are visible from smaller altitude”

“Liking & disliking is function of knowledge”

If you ever get a chance to interact with a crazy scientist ask him what he like most in his life & you will get answer which will be in the domain of science & technology. Go & ask the same question with a lawyer & there are good chances that he will say some section of our constitution or any law because of its social implication etc etc.Ask the reverse question that what they dislike most again the answer will be in the domain of expertise of respective person. This is very natural & there is nothing like rocket science behind them, but it underlines the very basic principle of human nature. We tend to select & deselect something which we know are good or bad in our knowledge .We can’t select something about which we know nothing & similarly we can’t reject something without knowing that it is bad .Our area of expertise is like a restaurant which has limited number of items on its menu. A Chinese restaurant will not have Indian cuisine on its list and also Indian restaurant can’t have English food on the menu. Hence to spice up our life we need to change restaurant means in the course of time we should change our expertise & then probably we can answer the question “Whether we like Indian, Chinese or English?”
